The CDU-FDP coalition should be celebrating having passed the halfway mark but instead it's locked in all sorts of disputes - over everything from minimum wages to strategies to deal with the euro crisis and possible tax cuts. Two years through its four-year term, the coalition is at loggerheads. That doesn't mean it hasn't been effective, with a reform of the Bundeswehr, robust economic growth and the lowest unemployment level in recent years all happening on its watch.
