The National Youth Orchestra of Iraq, founded with the help of Deutsche Welle, is practising Beethoven's violin concerto. We followed the young musicians - Shiites, Sunnis, Christians, Arabs, Kurds and Turkmen - rehearsing for their first concert in Germany.
