Susanne Hegenscheidt was in her bedroom when she heard the sound of an incoming aircraft. That was followed by a deafening noise. The first aircraft had slammed into the north tower of the World Trade Center, just a block from where she lived. The young internet specialist was under shock and ran into the street after the second tower was hit. Hegenscheidt says the attacks changed her life.
