Danja Atari is the name of the band headed by Cologne singer and artist Danja Mathari. The group has just released their second album - a mix of electro, pop and trip hop. DW met up with Danja before a concert in Düsseldorf. The daughter of a German mother and Tunisian-French father, Danja doesn’t see herself just as a musician, but also as an artist who experiments with illustrations and installations as well as sound effects.
