In 1992, almost a decade before Nadia: the Secret of Blue Water would receive a proper release in the US through ADV Films, it was licensed by another company: Streamline Pictures. They produced an English dub, headed by Carl Macek and renamed simply Nadia, and released the first eight episodes before the dub was seemingly canceled.

Here these episodes are, recorded from the VHS tapes. I was only able to record the audio of these episodes, not the video, and as such, I've left two sets of files here: my raw audio recordings, and a video version I've patched together using the Japanese video, with somewhat lower-quality audio due to software limitations. I recommend you use the video versions if you just want to watch the episodes, and use the audio versions for archival/editing purposes.

Of note is that the Streamline version has a unique intro and ending, which is identical to the Japanese version but which has the logo and credits in English. Unfortunately, I was unable to record this; the videos use the Japanese logo and credits. However, if you're especially curious, the Streamline version of episode 1 has been uploaded with (albeit low-quality) video elsewhere on archive.org, so you can look at the English credits there.

Cast:
Nadia - Wendee Lee
Jean - Ardwight Chamberlain
King - Carl Macek
Mary - Cheryl Chase
Grandis - Melanie MacQueen
Sanson - Tom Wyner
Hanson - Steve Kramer
Ayrton - Bob Bergen
Captain Nemo - Jeff Winkless
Electra - Edie Mirman
Eiko - Kerrigan Mahan
Nautilus Commander - Milton James
Gargoyle - Steve Bulen

Please note that the name for episode 8 is actually "Operation: Rescue!" but my OS prohibits putting colons in file names, so I had to leave it out.
