Taken Assault: Venus Quest in Destiny: The Taken King - How to find Champion for "The Taken War: Petra". You seek out public events, in this case in on venus (Shattered Coast, Ishtar Commons or The Citadel) and kill a champion that spawns at the end of the event. <br /><br />In the case of The Taken War, there's a bit more to do, so here's the breakdown. First, you will need a fireteam or at least one more player near you. <br /><br />❱ KILL 2 CHAMPIONS<br />The Champion appears after you killed enough of his minions during the public event. Focus on the bigger enemies known as captains and the champion will spawn soon. His name is Sho oulth, Horror of Oryx and can take quite a few rockets. You have to kill him twice for the Taken Assault: Venus quest step. Just stick around and wait for the next public event and kill him a second time. <br /><br />❱ COLLECT THE BATTLE WRECKAGE<br />You will be awarded with the battle wreckage automatically after killing the champion.<br /><br />❱ COMPLETING THE QUEST STEP<br />After you killed the champion twice, you have to return to Petra and turn in your quest item.
