An der Seite von Kasumi haben wir Hanzaemon getötet, womit sie sich selbst zur Anführerin der Aoto-Gang erklärt hat, die vor hat, wieder die alten Traditionen ihrer Familie fortzuführen. Nachdem wir von den Magistraten ins Gefängnis gesteckt wurden, weil wir bei einer Erpressung von Mohei erwischt wurden. Allerdings werden wir zu unserer Überraschung bereits vorzeitig entlassen, da uns die Magistraten berichten, dass offenbar eine Kaution für uns bezahlt wurde. Aus diesem Grund können wir doch noch der Zeremonie Kasumis zur Ernenung des Oberhauptes der Aoto Bande beiwohnen. Dort angekommen, merken wir am Rande, dass sich manche Mitglieder doch Sorgen um Kyojiro machen und wir auch unsere Gedanken darum machen, weil diese noch eine Gefahr für die neue Organisation sein könnte. Aus diesem Grund entschließen wir uns auch ohne weitere Rücksprache auf die Suche nach Kyojiro zu gehen um sie endgültig zu töten. Wird es uns gelingen oder hält Kasumis Führung nicht sehr lange an?
